Terms and conditions of sale of the gift vouchers

These Terms govern the sale of the gift vouchers issued by Riso Melotti S.R.L. (hereinafter "the Seller") through the online shop of Risotteria Melotti - Isola della Scala. By proceeding with the purchase, the user declares to have read and accepted these conditions.

1. Subject of the contract

The voucher is a registered (nominative) title entitling the holder to consume, at Risotteria Melotti - Isola della Scala (Isola della Scala (VR)), meals and beverages for an amount corresponding to the denomination purchased (€50, €75, €100 or €150).

2. Validity

• The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• The expiry date is shown on the voucher and in the delivery email.
• Once expired, the voucher can no longer be redeemed or refunded.

3. Conditions of use

• The voucher may be used only once: any difference between the value of the voucher and that of the bill is neither refundable nor transferable to a future consumption.
• If the bill exceeds the value of the voucher, the difference is due at the time.
• The voucher may be combined with other vouchers of the same nominal value, unless otherwise indicated by the Seller.
• Booking is recommended, by phone at or by email, to ensure table availability.

4. Payment and invoicing

Payment is made online via Stripe (credit/debit card). The tax receipt is issued by Risotteria Melotti - Isola della Scala at the time of the online sale — not at the time of redemption — and sent by email to the buyer within 24 hours. Consumption on the premises, at the redemption stage, does not entail the issuance of a new tax receipt.

5. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to art. 59 lett. n) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to vouchers intended for the provision of catering services, as contracts for the supply of services for which a specific date or period of performance is provided. Therefore, once purchased, the voucher is non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash.

6. Loss or theft

In the event of loss or theft of the voucher (code and/or PDF), the buyer may request reissuance by writing to risomelotti@yourmessageforever.com, providing:

• order number
• the email used for the purchase
• identity document for verification

The Seller, having verified the identity of the buyer, will cancel the lost voucher and issue a new one with the same remaining validity.

7. Cancellations

The Seller reserves the right to cancel a voucher in the event of proven abuse, fraud, error of issuance or cessation of business. In such case the Seller will refund the amount paid.

8. Competent court

For any dispute arising from the purchase and use of the voucher, the competent court is that of the consumer (place of residence or elected domicile). The consumer's right to alternative dispute resolution through the ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) remains unaffected.

9. Amendments

The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms with effect for future purchases. The version applicable to a voucher is the one in force at the time of purchase.
